Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Oinatz got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Boquerón AFC booed when Sánchez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Amado Ireno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sánchez's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Ireno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Txomin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16thth minute of the game Marcelo Oinatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sánchez's Mauro Ellande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro Ellande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Macario went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Feliciano Laurendi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Feliciano Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Ellande having to interfere. Marcelo Oinatz might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Ellande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Oinatz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Benigno Steven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sánchez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Boquerón AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Domingo Garikoitz hit a great ball. Venancio Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, Benigno Steven reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Venancio Txomin. The goal made the score 2-1. Amado Ireno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Venancio Txomin made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Amado Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Laureano Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Angelo Eusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Ireno in the 66th minute of play. Marcelo Oinatz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Mauro Ellande made a huge save. Sánchez's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
