Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amado Ireno took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Uguay AFC's Tomás Oskarbi got a free kick in the 12th minute. Fermin Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Steven in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Generoso Esdras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Ellande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sánchez's Edgardo Eguerdi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Constantino Tiso kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Edgardo Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Ellande having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Edgardo Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Ellande having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Sánchez's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Belo came free, but Mauro Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sánchez getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Feliberto Rocio hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Constantino Tiso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Ellande skillfully saved the ball. Laureano Guerrero hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Sánchez's Mauro Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Belo in the 68th minute of play. Edgardo Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sánchez's zone, Edgardo Belo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Ellande came out of the goal and Edgardo Belo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sánchez players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Uguay AFC.
