In the 15th minute of the match Samuel Gora shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Nikola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Oso in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Nikola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Nikola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Penang FA's Anacleto Caetano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Penang FA from getting a goal against them. Aristides Nikola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Tohias went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Alejandro Tohias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Penang FA's Anacleto Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Ibañez in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Penang FA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Abar to make the kick off. Rogelio Steven hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Los Manzanos's Aristides Nikola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Manzanos from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Ibañez in the 57th minute of play forced Penang FA's goalkeeper Anacleto Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rogelio Steven fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Cosme Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Caetano having to interfere. Anacleto Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Abar in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Penang FA's Haroldo Ederono got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Penang FA's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Abar came free, but Anacleto Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes Penang FA got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Feliu. 79 minutes into the game, Penang FA's Marciano Gutxi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Los Manzanos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Tohias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Penang FA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
