Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Norberto Rodriguez kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Obanta AFC booed when C.A.Excursionistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Bixintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ismael Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Rodriguez got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jimeno Laffitte handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C.A.Excursionistas's Augusto Luix got a free kick in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Harkaitz got free with Placido Cordario in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Simon Tibalt fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Obanta AFC's protests and gave Simon Tibalt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Simon Tibalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Teo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Harkaitz got free with Placido Cordario in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Cordario having to interfere. Aaron Harkaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Placido Cordario made a huge save. Aaron Harkaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jimeno Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ismael Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Obanta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Cordairo couldn't finish the play. Aaron Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Placido Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Obanta AFC's Placido Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Bixintxo in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute Teo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Obanta AFC's Ismael Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Cordeiro during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adolfo Cordeiro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Teo Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Placido Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jimeno Laffitte made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ismael Cordairo sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th match minute, C.A.Excursionistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Luix to maneuver through the defense. Obanta AFC's Placido Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Bixintxo in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Isidro Cortez made a precise shot to the right of Placido Cordario. Obanta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Aaron Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes, Marcelino Ihintza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Excursionistas and the Obanta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, one of C.A.Excursionistas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A.Excursionistas. Jimeno Laffitte had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Humberto Niguel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 94th minute Teo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
