The referee showed Norbert Röring the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norbert Röring hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Flavio Min ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Blasi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Theobald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Blasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Geoffroy Poire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Theobald got a freekick which was hit by Juan Erasto. When Norbert Röring came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Röring couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Geoffroy Poire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Txomin was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Solustiano came free, but Silvestre Blasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
