Urundel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Theodore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Luis Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Urundel's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Edwardo came free, but Basilio Clementi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Urundel's Ruben Dantae slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Orlan. That made the score 1-2 after 32 minutes of play. Martin Theodore struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Basilio Clementi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaymallén. Sebastian Orlan was a little too slow when Clemente Casado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Dantae stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Urundel players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
