An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Vinhas in the 26th minute of play forced Daireaux's goalkeeper Ricardo-Enrique Bochini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Joel Loiola took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ricardo-Enrique Bochini to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Vinhas got free with Ricardo-Enrique Bochini in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nico Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ricardo-Enrique Bochini made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Jakobe in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvaro Lico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 56 played minutes Lagunillas got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Remicio. 58 minutes into the match, Nico Vinhas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. Dalmacio Urtsua made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelo Osmundo. Urbano Jakobe struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Alvaro Lico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daireaux. Alvaro Lico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Garcia in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Vinhas in the 82nd minute of play forced Daireaux's goalkeeper Ricardo-Enrique Bochini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Daireaux got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Jakobe. 84 minutes into the match, Lagunillas's Nico Vinhas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 93rd minute Nico Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo-Enrique Bochini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lagunillas's Herminio Galo got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Daireaux players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lagunillas.
