After 15 minutes, Godfredo Frederico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA NARANJA MECANICA and the Dalmine players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Damaso Atarratze notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LA NARANJA MECANICA's Melquiades Fix. Melquiades Fix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Dalmine's Damaso Atarratze got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Danny Kendall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Fix was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Dalmine's Arsenio Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dalmine's Cleto Clodio got a free kick in the 47th minute.

A collision led to Dalmine getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Teofilo Mikolas hit a great ball. LA NARANJA MECANICA's Saul Brun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dalmine. Dalmine's Mario Caradaro pulled a muscle in his back after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 姜烽然 was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dalmine's Leon Dabi was substituted for Mario Caradaro. The supporters of Dalmine booed when LA NARANJA MECANICA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Monte didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Chan in the 76th minute of play forced LA NARANJA MECANICA's goalkeeper Melquiades Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
