Morse's Ivan Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Ishmael in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Bilintx in the 35th minute of play forced Morse's goalkeeper Ivan Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Lanús Este left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Morse.
