Feliberto Palban was a little too slow when Ceferino Venceslao got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. With his leg Feliberto Palban managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Colón AFC's Alfredo Elorri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valentin Perfecto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Guillelmus in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Ceferino Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Palban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, kroke's Albano Arixo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Perfecto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Feliberto Palban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Alfredo Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Palban having to interfere. If Alfredo Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the kroke players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Colón AFC.
