Elvio Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Cordeal, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. corintias's Alejo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Martxot in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind corintias's goalkeeper Alejo Abarca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Manuel Cordeal rounded CSyD José C. Paz's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. If Celedonio Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Quintin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Elvio Castulo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cordeal in the 37th minute of play forced CSyD José C. Paz's goalkeeper Elvio Castulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Martxot in the 38th minute of play forced corintias's goalkeeper Alejo Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Patricio Tavio made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Abarca. corintias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Martxot was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Tavio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Abarca saved corintias from getting behind. A collision led to corintias getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Niceto Estebe hit a great ball. Evaristo Martxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Abarca having to interfere. CSyD José C. Paz's Patricio Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Abarca made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Evaristo Martxot sent off a good shot on target. Elvio Castulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Muno in the 65th minute of play. Evaristo Martxot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alejo Abarca made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Celedonio Quintin managed to get in a good position for a shot. corintias's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Quintin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Castulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Martxot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alejo Abarca made a huge save. If Evaristo Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Estebano's late challenge caught a CSyD José C. Paz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Estebano helped the player get up and apologised. Romulo Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The long shot by Humberto Feo in the 82nd minute really tested Alejo Abarca's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 87th minute of the match, Patricio Tavio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejo Abarca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Celedonio Quintin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CSyD José C. Paz eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
