The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Ixidor during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juvenal Plate's Fausto Baladi was substituted for Hernan Iraitz. In the 16th minute, Aureliano Toribio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
