San Martin de Tucuman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Incendio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Bunge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Luke came free, but Donato Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Fidel Lehen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute David Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Incendio got free with Donato Txeru in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Bunge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Gonsalvo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Incendio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Txeru. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Fidel Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristian Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Albino Hotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Amado Maura in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Martin de Tucuman's Albino Hotz. 37 minutes into the game, San Martin de Tucuman's Baldomiro Incendio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Txeru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Paulo Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bunge AFC's zone, David Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Txeru came out of the goal and David Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Garci got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Higinio Gonsalvo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Lehen to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Lehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Betadur having to interfere. Donato Txeru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Martin de Tucuman's Cristian Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Lehen in the 59th minute of play. Baldomiro Incendio scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Txeru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. San Martin de Tucuman's Cristian Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Lehen in the 71st minute of play. David Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Txeru having to interfere. San Martin de Tucuman's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Israel Roldan scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Betadur, making the score, 3-1. Fidel Lehen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Fidel Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Lehen came free, but Cristian Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, David Bladi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Txeru. Bunge AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Bladi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Donato Txeru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that San Martin de Tucuman were the better team. San Martin de Tucuman's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
