In the 11th match minute, Luján FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Tomás Estebano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luján FC's Horacio Taurino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The VUELO 86 fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when VUELO 86's Tomás Estebano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, VUELO 86's Aaron Peio got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes, Luján FC's Clemente Mannie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Bermudo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luján FC reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
52 minutes into the game, Eulalio Ixaka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leo Bermudo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Luján FC's zone, Edu Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Taurino came out of the goal and Edu Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Ixaka hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tomás Estebano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Horacio Taurino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Clemente Mannie fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luján FC's protests and gave Clemente Mannie a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Estebanos short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Horacio Taurino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luján FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Tomás Estebano scored to the left of an out of position Horacio Taurino, making the score, 3-3. The Luján FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Eulalio Ixaka's late challenge caught a VUELO 86's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Ixaka helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Luján FC's zone, Tomás Estebano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Taurino came out of the goal and Tomás Estebano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Luján FC had won after a very even match.
