After 4 played minutes Pelu F.C got a freekick which was hit by Justo Estefan. After a rather tough play, Pelu F.C's Domingos Maxin got a free kick in the 7th minute. P O L I 's Aquilino Cheche shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ciriaco Silvino but with some difficulty. 12 minutes into the match, P O L I 's Conrado Uzuri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Silvino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mauricio Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot. P O L I 's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Benat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Silvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Silvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Benat in the 24th minute of the match. 任昂骋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pelu F.C's Gilberto Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, 任昂骋 made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pelu F.C's Ciriaco Silvino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 任昂骋 made the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Benat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ciriaco Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. P O L I 's Mauricio Benat got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 minutes, Mauricio Benat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the P O L I and the Pelu F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes P O L I got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Benat. P O L I 's Roland Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Bernebe in the 81st minute of play. Roland Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Estefan in the 82nd minute of play. Fausto Mannie's late challenge caught a P O L I 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Mannie helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Mannie hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Gilberto Sidro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roland Stålman. The goal made the score 1-2. With 93 minutes on the clock, Aquilino Cheche commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of P O L I :s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pelu F.C:s goal. Roland Stålman had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Domingos Maxin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fausto Mannie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roland Stålman. P O L I 's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pelu F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over P O L I 's much stronger midfield.
