After a defensive mix-up in extreme's zone, Romulo Eskuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Herena came out of the goal and Romulo Eskuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, extreme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Ourente to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Herena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Eskuin went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Elpidio Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Eskuin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Balbastro's Victoriano Vela got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind extreme's goalkeeper Elpidio Herena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elpidio Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Senio in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, extreme's Israel Beat got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Gaudencio Pierres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Vela was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Balbastro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Elpidio Herena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Eskuin got free with Elpidio Herena in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 minutes of play, Balbastro's Romulo Eskuin made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Herena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Balbastro played a much better game than extreme and deserved their victory. The extreme players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
