After 3 played minutes tigre got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Ibañez. If Inocencio Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silvano Llorenc came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Simbolar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Llorenc couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in tigre's zone, Inocencio Aguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Ferrando came out of the goal and Inocencio Aguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvano Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Paulo Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Llorenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Raimundo Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Geronimo Oinatz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Dalmu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Raimundo Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ferrando having to interfere. In the 36th minute Inocencio Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Bladi to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

55 minutes into the game, Raimundo Calvet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simbolar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave tigre the free kick. The supporters of tigre booed when Simbolar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Calvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Simbolar's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Oinatz came free, but Ramon Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, tigre's Paulo Ferrando got control of the ball when Inocencio Aguirre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Froilan Ayala made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silvano Llorenc. After 67 played minutes Simbolar got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Calvet. Silvano Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Paulo Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Aguirre got free with Paulo Ferrando in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvano Llorenc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Ferrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 86 played minutes Simbolar got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Calvet. 89 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Cristofol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simbolar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave tigre the free kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, tigre could leave the field as winners, despite Simbolar having more of the ball for most of the match.
