After a defensive mix-up in tigre's zone, Ezequiel Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Ferrando came out of the goal and Ezequiel Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Theobald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Ferrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Paulo Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Rosario in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Benigno Rosario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uzcudum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After some careless play in the tigre defense, Benigno Rosario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Ferrando. The tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Ferrando should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Theobald made a kick off.
