Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jacinto Llope started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gejza Lebovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Txerran in the 2nd minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Aurelio Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bennington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Nalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Americo Azubeli. The audience was convinced that Gogo Stanislao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gejza Lebovic was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jacinto Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Llope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Perpinya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 minutes, Silvano Estevon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bennington and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bennington! Santiago Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Bezerra in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, one of Racing Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Racing Club. Vicente Fiz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 29 minutes into the match, Gogo Stanislao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gejza Lebovic, 1-1. A collision led to Bennington getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lázaro Txerran hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Jacinto Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Stanislao got free with Gejza Lebovic in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Gejza Lebovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Stanislao. Santiago Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Santiago Perpinya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Llope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Perpinya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Gogo Stanislao kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Bennington's Santiago Perpinya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Llope in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Aaron Taurino fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bennington's protests and gave Aaron Taurino a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Taurino hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Jacinto Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Llope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Stanislao in the 55th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Gejza Lebovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gejza Lebovic having to interfere. Bennington's Santiago Perpinya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Llope in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute Americo Azubeli suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Julian Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Bennington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Vasco to maneuver through the defense. Gejza Lebovic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Stanislao's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute of the match, Jacinto Llope tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santiago Perpinya saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 68th minute, Gogo Stanislao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bennington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Racing Club's Gejza Lebovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Fiz in the 72nd minute of play. Santiago Perpinya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Juvenal in the 74th minute. Santiago Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Llope in the 75th minute of the match. Gejza Lebovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Stanislao in the 78th minute of play. Santiago Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Santiago Perpinya was a little too slow when Jacinto Llope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-3. The Racing Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Racing Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
