Jacinto Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Silbestre having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacinto Llope took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Silbestre. Hernan Silbestre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jacinto Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Silbestre having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Orán's zone, Americo Azubeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Silbestre came out of the goal and Americo Azubeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Orán's goalkeeper Hernan Silbestre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Gejza Lebovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Enetz. Jacinto Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hernan Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Llope stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Jacinto Llope sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Silbestre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes in the game, Jacinto Llope fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hernan Silbestre having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Azubeli couldn't finish the play. When Americo Azubeli fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Americo Azubeli a yellow card for diving instead. Americo Azubeli hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Hernan Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Americo Azubeli came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Azubeli couldn't finish the play. If Gilberto Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Americo Azubeli got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Racing Club played a much better game than Orán and deserved their victory. The Orán players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
