Lanteri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 18 minutes, Elpidio Gizon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los muertos vivientes and the Lanteri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Hats was a little too slow when Anibal Atauri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Atauri got free with Mauro Hats in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Benedicto Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Clemente Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamzaj Shk in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Veronica saved Lanteri from getting behind. Alberto Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamzaj Shk, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. During the 31st minute of the match Atilano Madeo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Atilano Madeo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Los muertos vivientes booed when Lanteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Hamzaj Shk made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Veronica. Lanteri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Anibal Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anibal Atauri made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Fix in the 55th minute of play forced Lanteri's goalkeeper Alberto Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Anibal Atauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamzaj Shk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Alberto Veronica when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Hamzaj Shk sped through Lanteri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Veronica. When Los muertos vivientes's Clemente Fix in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lanteri's goalie prevented a goal.
