Julian Lano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Julian Policarpio charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Policarpio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Rufio got free with Julian Lano in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Policarpio in the 20th minute of play forced Cosquin FC's goalkeeper Marcos Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Fulgencio Frederico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Quintun in the 27th minute of the match. Cosquin FC's Marcos Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Abeijon in the 28th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When Cayetano Quintun fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HAY EQUIPO's protests and gave Cayetano Quintun a yellow card for diving instead. When Cosquin FC's Basilio Frances in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HAY EQUIPO's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Basilio Frances's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Lano was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
