A collision led to HAY EQUIPO getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Teofilo Gustau hit a great ball. Feliberto Endura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Julian Lano made a huge save. Cayetano Quintun hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes, SAN DIEGO's Haroldo Tabor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julian Lano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAN DIEGO reached it. Julian Lano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Domeka's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, HAY EQUIPO's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Domeka came free, but Julian Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Burutzagi scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Teodoro Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Burutzagi in the 29th minute of play forced HAY EQUIPO's goalkeeper Julian Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Julian Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HAY EQUIPO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Anastasio Domeka scored to the left of an out of position Julian Lano, making the score, 3-0. In the 42nd match minute, HAY EQUIPO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Frederico to maneuver through the defense. If Leopoldo Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cayetano Quintun to make the kick off. Sixto Felipillo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Julian Lano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Domeka's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Domeka in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Lano saved HAY EQUIPO from getting behind. When Teodoro Machado came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the HAY EQUIPO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Machado couldn't finish the play. Julian Lano came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN DIEGO's Anastasio Domeka. But to his dismay, Anastasio Domeka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 74th minute, Anastasio Domeka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes, Americo Mazuste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HAY EQUIPO and the SAN DIEGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leopoldo Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julian Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
