In the 92nd match minute, Cachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Velasco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cachi's zone, Flavio Berasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Poz came out of the goal and Flavio Berasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that San Carlos Fc were the better team. San Carlos Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
