André Brekke charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Brekke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Brekke kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Nicasio Intxixu made a precise shot to the right of Hector Elixio. Estudiantes de La Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nicasio Intxixu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes in the game, Raul Vitin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hector Elixio having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Epifanio Frederico rounded Estudiantes de La Plata's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 19 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Frederico came free, but Hector Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Rolado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Godofredo Tajo fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaula de pajaros's protests and gave Godofredo Tajo a yellow card for diving instead. Godofredo Tajo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Teobaldo Franco made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Estudiantes de La Plata's Cristian Abar. If Reynaldo Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Jaula de pajaros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Tajo to maneuver through the defense. Hector Elixio came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaula de pajaros's Nicasio Intxixu. But to his dismay, Nicasio Intxixu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Estudiantes de La Plata's Hector Elixio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de La Plata from getting a goal against them. Hector Elixio was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Epifanio Frederico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Epifanio Frederico really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0.

Hector Elixio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jaula de pajaros's Raul Vitin. But to his dismay, Raul Vitin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 56 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Intxixu came free, but Hector Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Nicasio Intxixu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Estudiantes de La Plata's Hector Elixio. Hector Elixio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Frederico in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Elixio saved Estudiantes de La Plata from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Godofredo Tajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Tajo came free, but Hector Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Epifanio Frederico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaula de pajaros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Gonzalo Tano stood somewhat misplaced when Generoso Abeijon came free in front of goal and shot 8-1 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Epifanio Frederico took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Elixio. Hector Elixio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. In the 90thth minute of the game Raul Vitin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes de La Plata's Hector Elixio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de La Plata defense, Nicasio Intxixu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Elixio. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Elixio should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jaula de pajaros had won after a very even match.
