Spectators: 6403 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1040, VIP seats: 10) Modesto Raebert started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gonzalo Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Valente in the 10th minute of play. Gonzalo Tano came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Bizantinos's Laureano Beltxe. But to his dismay, Laureano Beltxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gonzalo Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Raebert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicasio Intxixu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benicio Llope. That made the score 3-1 in the 26 minute of play. Benicio Llope was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Raul Vitin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raul Vitin really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 35th match minute, Jaula de pajaros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Frederico to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Benicio Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Intxixu in the 37th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Frederico to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bizantinos's Wilfredo Ticho got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Jaula de pajaros's Epifanio Frederico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Jaula de pajaros were furious when Godofredo Tajo was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 58th minute, Godofredo Tajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Wilfredo Ticho in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gonzalo Tano's left hand side. 64 minutes into the match, Laureano Beltxe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Tano. Jaula de pajaros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Beltxe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Raul Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Frederico in the 69th minute of the match. Raul Vitin took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Llope. Benicio Llope dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. André Brekke hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Jaula de pajaros's goalkeeper Gonzalo Tano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Lain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Valente in the 81st minute of play forced Jaula de pajaros's goalkeeper Gonzalo Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Bizantinos's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Vitin came free, but Benicio Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Intxixu in the 84th minute of play. Antonio Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Benicio Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Vitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Jaula de pajaros's Nicasio Intxixu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. If Epifanio Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bizantinos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
