It was beautiful to see Estudiantes de La Plata's Fidel Furtado in action when he in the 25th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Moises Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Rolado, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Huapy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Rolado came free, but Moises Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Estudiantes de La Plata's corner Fidel Furtado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Moises Cebrian quite easily take care of the ball. Estudiantes de La Plata's Hector Elixio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de La Plata from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, Huapy FC's Hilario Fidele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hector Elixio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Estudiantes de La Plata's Hector Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Dziatkowicz in the 91st minute of play. 4-0 became the score in the 94th minute when Emil Dziatkowicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 5-0 became the score in the 100th minute when Hilario Fidele elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Huapy FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
