The crowd rose to their feet as Romeo Telmo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelino Atarratze. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Amigos Futbol Klub's goalkeeper Marcelino Atarratze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Cordarell. Marcelino Atarratze made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Raul Iigo sent off a good shot on target. Iron Maiden's Raul Iigo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Amigos Futbol Klub's Marcelino Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Amigos Futbol Klub from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Totakoxe in the 36th minute of play forced Iron Maiden's goalkeeper Vinicio Griego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Atarratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Griego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Totakoxe in the 39th minute of play. With his leg Marcelino Atarratze managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Iron Maiden's Raul Iigo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Totakoxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Atarratze having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Iron Maiden's Nicolas Cordarell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelino Atarratze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Rodolfo Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marcelino Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Griego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Totakoxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Evelio Isadore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Atarratze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Raul Iigo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelino Atarratze. Marcelino Atarratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Iigo in the 71st minute of the match. Iron Maiden's Raul Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Silvestre Berdaitz made a precise shot to the right of Marcelino Atarratze. Amigos Futbol Klub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Raul Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcelino Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Iron Maiden fully deserved thier win.
