Chichinales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazaredo the free kick. A collision led to Chichinales getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ciro Toli hit a great ball. When Hipolito Atarratze fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chichinales's protests and gave Hipolito Atarratze a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Chichinales got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Atarratze. Ernesto Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Truylos having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Mazaredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Baumar to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Baumar made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chichinales's zone, Aristides Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Truylos came out of the goal and Aristides Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 52 minutes into the game, Chichinales's Alvaro Remir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Abadia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Chichinales's zone, Aristides Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Truylos came out of the goal and Aristides Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Ixona's late challenge caught a Mazaredo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Ixona helped the player get up and apologised. Nunez Ixona hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chichinales's Remigio Truylos got control of the ball when Aristides Baumar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The long shot by Kyriakos Belonis in the 67th minute really tested Remigio Truylos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aristides Baumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Truylos having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Mazaredo's Kyriakos Belonis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Truylos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Aristides Baumar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remigio Truylos. Aristides Baumar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 80 minutes into the match, Mazaredo's Aristides Baumar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Truylos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Aristides Baumar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Truylos was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo's Baldomero Malvin got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Hermengildo Abastas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Abadia skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 87 in the game by Aristides Baumar from a close distance when the talented Remigio Truylos managed to make a qualified save. Chichinales's players were relieved. The supporters of Mazaredo booed when Chichinales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mazaredo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
