If Victoriano Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Emiliano Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Incendio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jugando Rudo F.C.'s zone, Victoriano Primeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Victoro came out of the goal and Victoriano Primeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Incendio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Fero in the 34th minute of play. Gabriel Victoro made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Lázaro Rayman sent off a good shot on target. Lázaro Rayman struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Gabriel Victoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guampacha. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Teofilio made a kick off. Adolfo Incendio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Fero in the 52nd minute. Nicasio Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Victoriano Primeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Victoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Lázaro Rayman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Guampacha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Rayman couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Victoriano Primeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Nafarroa's late challenge caught a Guampacha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Nafarroa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guampacha booed when Jugando Rudo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Lázaro Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guampacha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Rayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Guampacha's Victoriano Primeiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Abel Vachon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guampacha's Adolfo Incendio didn't even have to move. If Lázaro Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guampacha had played much better football throughout.
