Julian Bartelak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 27 played minutes Andalgalá FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Hanot. In the 29thth minute of the game Vladimiro Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ituzaingó FC's Julian Bartelak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sylwester Sokol hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ituzaingó FC booed when Andalgalá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Ituzaingó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Bartelak should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Hernandez to make the kick off.
