Spectators: 7073 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 140) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aquiles Formerio got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes, Durazno's Manuel Santxol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualterio Colon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Durazno reached it. After a rather tough play, Abasto F.C.'s Bernabe Pedroso got a free kick in the 6th minute. Abasto F.C.'s Gualterio Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Santxol in the 11th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abasto F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! If Candido Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Geronimo Weingartner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abasto F.C.'s Gualterio Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Abasto F.C. from getting a goal against them. Leon Lucila shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Candido Dolcet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Durazno players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abasto F.C. were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Astigar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Durazno's goalkeeper Guillermo Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Aquiles Formerio in the 63rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Guillermo Arce kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. If Candido Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Formerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Arce was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Olo in the 72nd minute of play forced Abasto F.C.'s goalkeeper Gualterio Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Olo in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Durazno getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alonzo Batista hit a great ball. Guillermo Arce came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Abasto F.C.'s Candido Dolcet. But to his dismay, Candido Dolcet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Candido Dolcet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abasto F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Dolcet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candido Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Arce having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Durazno's zone, Aquiles Formerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Arce came out of the goal and Aquiles Formerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
