But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Lobo couldn't finish the play. Quka23's Desiderio Maore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Quka23 from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Ezkerra got free with Desiderio Maore in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 32 minutes on the clock, Albino Primo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of Quka23:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 34th minute, where Dolores:s Marcelino Sagrario tricked Quka23:s Desiderio Maore with a difficult ball by the left post. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
