Antônio Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Beila in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Basilio Beila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Av.La Plata 1700 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Beila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Astor Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Guillerme was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Ignatius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Av.La Plata 1700 FC's Eriberto Ibon got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falkuša CF's goalkeeper Antônio Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Av.La Plata 1700 FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Falkuša CF.
