He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Erasmo Uxio. Erasmo Uxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gotzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Clodoveo Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Uxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Frasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Romo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Gerardo Frasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alagón AFC's Erasmo Uxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Rosio in the 92nd minute of play. Erasmo Uxio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Nalo went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score.
