After 15 minutes of play, TRESAR Club's Juarês Britto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 18 minutes, Cesar Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRESAR Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Benet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Eugenio Jerico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TRESAR Club and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TRESAR Club's Eugenio Jerico got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Benedicto Erruki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Geronimo Elizardo fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Geronimo Elizardo a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Elizardo. In the 30th minute Silvano Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Racing Club's Silvano Galoer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 64thth minute of the game Silvano Galoer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRESAR Club's Froilan George was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
