After 11 minutes of play, Saucecito's Natalio Guillelmus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Beltran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernan Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Beltran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Mikelar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Danilo Mikelar struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Fernan Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saucecito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Mikelar in the 30th minute of play forced Roberts FC's goalkeeper Fernan Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match, German Vellito got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eloy Jaunzuria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute Danilo Mikelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saucecito's Eloy Jaunzuria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Saucecito from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Danilo Mikelar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Beltran was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Roberts FC's zone, Danilo Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Beltran came out of the goal and Danilo Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Guillelmus in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Beltran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Mikelar to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Saucecito's Natalio Guillelmus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernan Beltran. That made the score 1-2 after 52 minutes of play. When Natalio Guillelmus fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saucecito's protests and gave Natalio Guillelmus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Roberts FC booed when Saucecito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Beltran came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Saucecito's Natalio Guillelmus. But to his dismay, Natalio Guillelmus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 63rd minute, Saucecito's Danilo Mikelar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. With an all-out effort, Saucecito's Fernan Beltran threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danilo Mikelar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Feliciano Vela came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Roberts FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Vela couldn't finish the play. Fernan Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Mikelar in the 80th minute of play. Roberts FC's Fernan Beltran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Roberts FC from getting a goal against them. Simon Matia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
