In the 3rd minute, Alfredo Elivareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Elivareo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir da Silveira was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. A collision led to Borbotones F.C getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marcelo Shantala hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Alejo Admon made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Gomesano. Borbotones F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute of the match Florencio Ordono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Gomesano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baldomiro Gomesano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Pudes in the 17th minute of the match. Alfredo Elivareo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Valdir da Silveira made a huge save. After some careless play in the Borbotones F.C defense, Conrado Pudes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Gomesano. The Borbotones F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Gomesano should have stopped the shot. The LOS PUMAS fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when LOS PUMAS's Diego Oskarbi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristian Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Oskarbi in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Gomesano saved Borbotones F.C from getting behind. Baldomiro Gomesano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Oskarbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Oskarbi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Conrado Pudes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomiro Gomesano. Conrado Pudes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Borbotones F.C's zone, Conrado Pudes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Gomesano came out of the goal and Conrado Pudes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Borbotones F.C's goalkeeper Baldomiro Gomesano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Pudes. In the 60thth minute of the game Alfredo Elivareo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS PUMAS's Valdir da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LOS PUMAS's zone, Cristian Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir da Silveira came out of the goal and Cristian Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Gomesano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Admon in the 63rd minute of the match. Alejo Admon hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. LOS PUMAS's Fernando Caton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Borbotones F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Oskarbi in the 82nd minute of play forced Borbotones F.C's goalkeeper Baldomiro Gomesano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Borbotones F.C booed when LOS PUMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Gomesano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Pudes went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. If Diego Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borbotones F.C's Baldomiro Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Oskarbi in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Diego Oskarbi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baldomiro Gomesano, 0-8. LOS PUMAS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
