When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jose Laffitte sped through Deferensores de Coghlan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Pelayo. Aquiles Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Pelayo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Hartz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Pelayo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Domingo Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Lertxun in the 96th minute of play forced Carrizal's goalkeeper Alfonso Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Gogo Lertxun made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Abella. Carrizal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. When the final whistle sounded Carrizal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deferensores de Coghlan.
