Henrique Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Manny having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Vergara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Weather to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vergara FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty!
