Spectators: 7094 (Terracing: 5322, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 141) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serafin Jenaro made the kick off which started today's match. Serafin Jenaro took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Sugar. Aquiles Sugar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Raimundo Fonda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Victorio Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Ateneo Mosconi got a freekick which was hit by Americo Restu. Suriyaco AFC's Raimundo Fonda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Manuelo in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Jenaro got free with Aquiles Sugar in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Cidro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquiles Sugar came out and tried to block the shot, but Zacarias Cidro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. Raimundo Fonda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Jenaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aquiles Sugar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Serafin Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suriyaco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Jenaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Sugar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Manuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Leopoldo Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suriyaco AFC's Delmiro Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Fonda having to interfere. When Suriyaco AFC's Serafin Jenaro in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ateneo Mosconi's goalie prevented a goal. Aquiles Sugar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Guzman in the 73rd minute of play. Serafin Jenaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Sugar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ateneo Mosconi's Aquiles Sugar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Jenaro in the 77th minute of play. German Donostia hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ateneo Mosconi's Higinio Quilino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raimundo Fonda but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Suriyaco AFC's Raimundo Fonda got control of the ball when Leopoldo Policarpio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Ateneo Mosconi's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Jenaro came free, but Aquiles Sugar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Sugar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Sugar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. German Donostia kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Suriyaco AFC had played much better football throughout.
