Henrique Bastos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Everardo Endura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbolar. Evelio Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Mufasa defense, Leopoldo Osoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Endura. The Mufasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Endura should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Abechuco was the one to do the kick off. Everardo Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Osoro in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Henrique Bastos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Everardo Endura. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 60th minute, Luisito Francho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Endura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Everardo Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Florian, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Simbolar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Bastos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Timoteo Florian got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Bastos got free with Everardo Endura in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
