Spectators: 6974 (Terracing: 5323, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florencio Iraido kicked off to start the match. Vladimiro Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Abechuco in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Evelio Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mufasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Manny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 6 minutes, Leopoldo Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mufasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Abechuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vergara FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Cleto Basualdo scored to the left of an out of position Vladimiro Manny, making the score, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Leopoldo Abechuco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 18th match minute, Mufasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Sanson to maneuver through the defense. When Tiburcio Demario came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Vergara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Demario couldn't finish the play. Florencio Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Abechuco got free with Vladimiro Manny in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 played minutes Vergara FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Vedillo. Everardo Endura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Gamus in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Vergara FC booed when Mufasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, Vergara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Jax to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Manny having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Vladimiro Manny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leopoldo Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vladimiro Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Eleuterio Aballe scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimiro Manny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Abechuco in the 68th minute of play. Leopoldo Abechuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Gamus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Everardo Endura came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugenio Gamus slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 75th minute. Mufasa's Everardo Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Iraido in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Eleuterio Aballe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mufasa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Mufasa made a substitution. Iker Maura replaced Leopoldo Abechuco. Everardo Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Endura was a little too slow when Florencio Iraido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 3-2. A collision led to Vergara FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Victor Weather hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Mufasa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
