The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauricio Mikolas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Tiburcio Matthew when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Enrique Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tiburcio Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Ferrer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiburcio Matthew came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrique Ferrer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Grafio FC's Tiburcio Matthew got control of the ball when Mauricio Mikolas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 20 minutes Grafio FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Rufo who took care of the corner kick. Enrique Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Matthew having to interfere. A hard shot 31 in the game by Mauricio Mikolas from a close distance when the talented Tiburcio Matthew managed to make a qualified save. Grafio FC's players were relieved. In the 43rd match minute, Grafio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Arce to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Mauricio Mikolas made the kick off in the second half. Logia Fusaro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonathan Rufo in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Logia Fusaro's corner Jonathan Rufo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiburcio Matthew quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Grafio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Ferrer came free, but Tiburcio Matthew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Irrintzi in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Mancio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiburcio Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Mikolas in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Mauricio Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florentino Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Mikolas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiburcio Matthew having to make a save. After having played for 74 minutes, Mauricio Mikolas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Logia Fusaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Mikolas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Grafio FC's zone, Jonathan Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Matthew came out of the goal and Jonathan Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Mauricio Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Logia Fusaro booed when Grafio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Rufo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Matthew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Mikolas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Matthew saved Grafio FC from getting behind. Tiburcio Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Mikolas in the 88th minute of the match. Tiburcio Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Mikolas in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute Mauricio Mikolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Logia Fusaro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
