When Pedro Rafel fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiso FC's protests and gave Pedro Rafel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Pedro Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Cobra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Weather came free, but Cristian Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Mannie having to interfere. Jan-Erik Sjögren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Albino Urtzi made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Viviano in the 29th minute of play forced Cobra FC's goalkeeper Cristian Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiso FC's Albino Urtzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Chiso FC from getting a goal against them. Albino Urtzi had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Carlos Gaitano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Carlos Gaitano did an outstanding performance 37 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Albino Urtzi in the goal. If Jan-Erik Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chiso FC's Felix Udalaitz got a free kick in the 47th minute.

A collision led to Chiso FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felix Udalaitz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chiso FC's zone, Silvestre Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Urtzi came out of the goal and Silvestre Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Silvestre Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Jan-Erik Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Erik Sjögren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albino Urtzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Vergaray's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 69 minutes, Godofredo Otsoko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiso FC and the Cobra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvestre Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Urtzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Viviano in the 74th minute of play forced Cobra FC's goalkeeper Cristian Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Mannie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Viviano in the 75th minute. If Silvestre Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Viviano took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Mannie. Cristian Mannie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cobra FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
