The Fumones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute Rolando Gora suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Nicanor Gentza charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Gentza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Fumones's Nicanor Gentza got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gogo Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leonides Ursino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to The Fumones getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ildefonso Firme hit a great ball. With a little luck, The Fumones's Leonides Ursino got control of the ball when Gogo Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gogo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmen AFC's Lisandro Llorian got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Milian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Leonides Ursino made a huge save. Esteve Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Ursino having to interfere. Sixto Chinto charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Chinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, The Fumones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Chinto to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Ursino having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in The Fumones's zone, Esteve Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Ursino came out of the goal and Esteve Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Llorian got free with Leonides Ursino in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Esteve Gartzea came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Carmen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Gartzea couldn't finish the play. During the 41st minute of the match Sixto Chinto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sixto Chinto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Carmen AFC booed when The Fumones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Gogo Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Milian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Lisandro Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Llorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Ursino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Melquiades Ruisko made the kick off in the second half. Leonides Ursino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fumones's Leonides Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Milian in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Gogo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Ursino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Carmen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Rufo. Leonides Ursino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Esteve Gartzea notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of The Fumones's Leonides Ursino. Leonides Ursino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Esteve Gartzea kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carmen AFC fully deserved thier win.
