Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ubaldo Jax took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pirquitas's Sixto Oriche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Jax in the 7th minute of play. Antonio Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Francis in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pirquitas's zone, Eustaquio Chesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Oriche came out of the goal and Eustaquio Chesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Jax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Oriche was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ubaldo Jax took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sixto Oriche to make any attempt to save it. Pirquitas's Sixto Oriche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Pirquitas from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, Humberto Tipi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirquitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente Beltran the free kick. Humberto Tipi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Nemesio Berbiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sixto Oriche saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente Beltran's zone, Serafin Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Oalo came out of the goal and Serafin Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sixto Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubaldo Jax kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sixto Oriche. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. After 42 minutes, Eliseo Muc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente Beltran and the Pirquitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Independiente Beltran's Eliseo Muc got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Eustaquio Chesus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Sixto Oriche when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Lordi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente Beltran's goalkeeper Antonio Oalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Ubaldo Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Oriche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Chesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Oriche having to interfere. Edgardo Lluciano hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Jax cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sixto Oriche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th match minute, Independiente Beltran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Chesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sixto Oriche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Marcos Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Oriche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Lordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Antonio Oalo made a huge save. Sixto Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Ubaldo Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Oriche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Nemesio Berbiz in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pirquitas's Humberto Tipi. Antonio Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Francis in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Chesus in the 92nd minute of play forced Pirquitas's goalkeeper Sixto Oriche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Independiente Beltran's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
