The referee ignored The Fumones's protests and gave Sixto Chinto a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Lordi in the 12th minute of play forced The Fumones's goalkeeper Leonides Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Romeo Atarratze fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 16th minute Romeo Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Oriche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Conrao hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Roman Conrao came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pirquitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Conrao couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Conrado Lordi made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Ursino. The Fumones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Conrado Lordi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Ursino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Lordi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Ursino saved The Fumones from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Pirquitas's Conrado Lordi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Ursino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The wind increased when Romeo Atarratze made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Conrado Lordi put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Ursino. Melquiades Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pirquitas were furious when Joaquin Betadur was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The Fumones's Leonides Ursino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save The Fumones from getting a goal against them. Leonides Ursino made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Conrado Lordi sent off a good shot on target. If Melquiades Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirquitas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
