Eustaquio Ruisko was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Ciro Otsando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Otsando really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Eustaquio Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 董川平, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Estudiantes LP's Eustaquio Balendin suffered a fractured collar bone after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ruben Luzaide fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored el pelado coio's protests and gave Ruben Luzaide a yellow card for diving instead. Estudiantes LP's Edgardo Orlandus was substituted for Eustaquio Balendin. Ruben Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match.
