The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Tomas Guerrero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Dabi was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 0-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Eric Tippelt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. But to his dismay, Eric Tippelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Eric Tippelt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Dabi was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Eric Tippelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Dabi. Huncal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Tippelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 31stth minute of the game Tomas Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huncal's Fidel Dabi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Huncal's Fidel Dabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Tippelt in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Huncal getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Claudio Gelacio hit a great ball. Eric Tippelt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Dabi. Huncal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fidel Dabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Tippelt in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Potrerillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Julio Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Rozarius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eric Tippelt might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Dabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Tippelt ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59 played minutes Huncal got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Gelacio. Fidel Dabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Guerrero in the 67th minute of play. Potrerillos's Eric Tippelt got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudio Gelacio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Dudu Madureira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Dabi. Huncal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fidel Dabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Tippelt's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Huncal's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Tippelt came free, but Fidel Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 87 in the game by Tomas Guerrero from a close distance when the talented Fidel Dabi managed to make a qualified save. Huncal's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Tippelt in the 89th minute of play forced Huncal's goalkeeper Fidel Dabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Potrerillos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Hector Columbo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Fidel Dabi came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Potrerillos's Tomas Guerrero. But to his dismay, Tomas Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Potrerillos played a much better game than Huncal and deserved their victory. The Huncal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
